Grand Hotel Oriente - Naples

Newly renovated rooms and pleasant and incredibly welcoming staff at the reception desk. Wonderful continental breakfast with a great food variety. Great and lovely location, next to Teatro Nuovo di Napoli. Extremely good area and exceptional views.

Pleasant property, has extremely helpful and caring staff at the reception desk. Absolutely perfect location near Piazza Giacomo Matteotti. Set in a very convenient area very close to roof garden and center of Napoli.

I appreciated the hotel's modern style and its position just a short walk from the fine Royal Palace of Naples. The breakfast with an amazing view added a special touch to my mornings .

Brand-new rooms complete with champagne and a bedroom, as example, extremely helpful staff. There's amazing roof top bar with premium beverages😀

A breakfast that fell short

The hotel is located in a great neighborhood that feels safe. The room was spacious with a comfy bed and a large bathroom equipped with a rain shower.

The breakfast experience was disappointing with empty buffet dishes and slow service. The reception staff did not seem cute.

Some very friendly staff - on the reception and at breakfast. Good standard of room - spacious, well appointed, comfy bed. Great location. Enjoyed our stay there.

Not really a criticism, but would be nice if the breakfast room was a little less "insular" - E.G. open the curtains and put some plants on the balconies. Playing music was a good feature - how about some Italian music among the Sting/Eric Clapton etc.?

Very friendly helpful staff in reception. Great location for exploring the city by foot - historic area and shopping. Five mins walk to the sea front. Good breakfast plenty fresh fruit etc.

Hair dryer did not work properly in my room as tube was broken.

Our room was comfortable and well-appointed, with an ample terrace overlooking parts of central Naples. It was bright, clean, and well-serviced. The buffet breakfast in the first floor restaurant was excellent, marred only by slow, detached, service.

Staff in the dining room were detached, and slow to recognise or respond to any request.

One mid age male at reception was abrupt and arrogant. The bar waiter though was brilliant, personable and exceptionally helpful.

Amazing hotel with excellent wi-fi, a lovely bar area, and 24-hour reception. The staff helped me print tickets on my first stay. Highly recommend to anyone visiting!

Centrally located, attentive concierge staff to help with the bags, easy to find, clean, large size rooms with mini bar and good sized TV.

The front desk staff were a bit cold/disinterested. Not rude, just not keen to be actively helpful, or to get up from their desks and come to the counter to greet/provide assistance. Also, the parking charge of €19 per day could be cheaper.

Central location thought the piles of rubbish and the works outside the hotel made things look messy, the hotel was a quiet and comfortable place to be in the centre of town.

Request a room away from the lobby for a quieter experience, especially if you're a light sleeper.
